Our Chickens (and other fowl)

I started with a few hens, eventually bought chicks from a hatchery to raise for meat, then bought an incubator and hatched some of my hens eggs.  Now I just let the hens hatch the chicks themselves.  There have been many ups and downs raising my own chickens and other assorted fowl) but they are the most rewarding and productive of all the animals.  Plus they are fun and entertaining to be around.

Chicks hatched from the incubator.
Fluffy order of chicks arrived during a cold snap - had to keep them indoors - the bathtub worked great!
Chicks from the hatchery spending some time outside.
Hatchery chicks - almost ready for slaughter.
One of our many roosters and no - the crowing doesn't bother me.
Our 3rd generation of chicks, raised and hatched on our farm.
The chickens get along with all the animals. They are always curious as to what one might be having to eat.
